«FULL HOUSE» Exhibition @ Villa Musegg

Before Villa Musegg is renovated and transformed into an artists’ residency, its venerable rooms will temporarily become an exhibition space. On two weekends in June 2026, the group exhibition FULL HOUSE – curated by Michael Sutter – will bring together contemporary art by sixty artists in a building whose history is as palpable as its impending transformation. The exhibition understands the house not as a mere shell, but as a state of being: a place between use and vacancy, between historical representation and contemporary conversion. The works appear not in a white cube, but in spaces whose surfaces, proportions, and traces inscribe their own temporality. FULL HOUSE is thus both an exhibition and a statement – ​​a condensation of current positions and a first public indication of the future cultural use of Villa Musegg in Lucerne.
