SUMMARY:«All down the Line – Drawing Now» Exhibition @ Kunsthalle Luzern
DESCRIPTION:The exhibition ‘All down the Line – Drawing Now’ highlights current drawing practices from Central Switzerland. It is part of the joint project ‘Dessin – Central Swiss Drawing’\, which brings together 13 art institutions. From October 2025 to March 2026\, each institution will present its own exhibition focused on drawing. \nIn response to the public call for submissions\, 126 dossiers were submitted by artists with close ties to Central Switzerland. The curators of the Dessin institutions were responsible for judging the submissions and distributing the positions among the participating institutions. Seventeen of these positions are on display in the exhibition at the Kunsthalle Luzern. \nThe exhibition shows the variety found in contemporary drawing\, from detailed pencil and colored pencil pieces to experimental monotypes and installations that bring lines into three dimensions. The themes include digital culture\, science\, politics\, as well as poetic\, personal\, and conceptual ideas. \nWhere does the line go\, and how far can it reach today? \nWith works by Stefan Auf der Maur\, Kathrin Biffi\, Regula Bühler-Schlatter\, Ida Dober\, Miranda Fierz\, Federica Gärtner\, Dominik Hagmann\, Sofia Hintermann\, Urs Holzgang\, Barbara Jäggi\, Amalia Maciuca\, Manuel Medina González\, Daniel C. SUMMARY:«Echoes» Exhibition @ Ahoi
DESCRIPTION:Echoes brings together a group of drawings in which the seashell symbolizes migration\, memory\, and resilience. A shell is both a home and a trace\, once lived in and now holding the mark of a life that has moved on. By arranging hands\, faces\, and delicate shapes\, the drawings show how our memories shape and protect us. \nExamining both personal and shared experiences\, the art explores how we navigate significant life changes\, such as moving\, loss\, or starting anew\, and how kindness can help us endure.
